Congratulations

We congratulate the thirteen children who received First Holy Communion on last Sunday.

We thank the staff of St. Ailbe’s National School for the preparation and support they gave the children. Thanks too to the planning group of the `Do This in Memory` programme.

And to all the parents who participated: we trust they will continue to nurture the Faith of these children and bring them to Mass & Communion

Grieving  Parents

God came among his people in the person of Elijah the prophet who restored to life a widow’s son. God has come supremely in the person of his Son, Jesus, who restores the son of a widow at Nain.

When the heart is broken –

like a parent grieving for a child –

God reaches out in compassion, to give life;

the life he gives is for eternity.

Through his resurrection – victory over death –

Jesus promises we will live eternally with God.

In the meantime, we who believe him are called

to reach out in compassion to broken hearts.

If you are willing to commit to one hour per week – at a set time – please place this form in the box at the back of the church. (We intend to begin in mid-June)
