BENEMERENTI  MEDAL

Congratulations to our organist Marie Ryan who has been awarded the Papal Benemerenti Medal for her service to our parish over the past 50 years.  This medal will be presented at the 11am Mass this Sunday. We thank Marie for that great and loyal commitment down through the years since her first arrival in Emly as a newly appointed teacher to Emly National School.

TIDY TOWN

A committee meeting in the hall on Mon 9th Aug at 8.30pm.  It is very important that all of the committee attend this meeting.

This is second judging time. Please be aware of litter.  Don’t forget the watering of flower beds and tubs around the village.


PARISH  HALL – Caretaker

Pat McGrath, Galtee View, has now taken over as caretaker of the parish hall.  All arrangements for us of the hall can be made through Pat.

We thank Martin Lonergan for his great work in caretaking and administering the hall for many years.
