A  VISION  OF  PARISH

The ‘Vision of Parish’ meetings will begin on Thursday next (10th November) in the Golden Thatch, Emly at 8pm. At these meetings we will be helped to explore what our ideal parish should be for us today and in the future.

All are welcome.

Emly Community Council thanks all parishioners for the great response in our recent election.  All outstanding ballot papers should be returned to John McGrath (merchant) as soon as possible..

 

CIRCLE  OF  FRIENDS

A natural Swedish skin care and cosmetic demonstration on Tues 8th at 7.30pm in the Golden Thatch.

 

BORD  NA  NOG

Thanks to everybody who organised and participated in our Sponsored Walk last Sunday.  It was a great success and all 63 walkers enjoyed the lovely Barbecue in Byrnes’s Tavern afterwards. All Walk cards should be returned to the Hall this Monday night(7th Nov) between 7.00-8.00pm.

 

EMLY  GAA

County Final Emly will  play Mullinahone in the county final of the intermediate football championship on Sunday November 6th @ 12pm in Cahir. Best of luck lads. Support isappreciated.

Junior A Hurling  –  Emly will play Thurles Sarsfields in the junior A hurling County Semi Final on Saturday Nov 12th @ 2pm in Dundrum.

Tipperary Under 17 Football: Well done to Emly corner forward Adrian Dawson  who was a member of the Tipperary under 17 football team that won the Daryl Darcy tournament with a great win against Clare last Monday night.

ST  AILBE’S  LADIES  FOOTBALL

Best of luck to the Intermediate Footballers in the County final this Sunday.

The club wishes to extend their sympathies to the Connolly and the Ryan families on the death of Mrs. Bridget Bresnan, Bansha.

The Minor team have now qualified for the knockout stages of the Championship.
