GOSPEL  REFLECTION

The parable reminds us that we are not the source of our own life. It is a gift from God, from our parents and from all who have nourished us. Give thanks for those who have been a source of life for you.

 

EUCHARISTIC  CONGRESS – Collection

Each diocese will hold their Fourth National Collection this weekend – 5th & 6th May 2012. Each parish is asked to support the hosting of this event in Ireland in June this year.

 

BEREAVEMENT  SUPPORT

The next Bereavement Support Information Evening will take place in Milford Care Centre on Tuesday 22nd May 2012 from 7-8.30pm.

These hour and a half-long evenings are designed to give general information on grief and bereavement to bereaved people, their family and friends. Bereavement counsellors are present in case there are specific questions.

 

TIDY  TOWN

A committee meeting will be held on Monday (7th May) at 8.30pm in the Parish Hall. All members are asked to attend

EMLY TUESDAY CLUB

Emly Tuesday Club thanks Byrne’s Tavern for

their generous contribution following their recent

fundraiser.

 

ST  AILBE’S  LADIES  FOOTBALL CLUB

Thanks to all those who contributed towards the Clothes and Scrap Collection recently which was held in conjunction with the senior club and the Bord na nÓg.

The U/12 championship is due to start next week. Junior training continues every week.  Registration is now due.
