in the presence of God the Son.`Good to be here

Two  Hill Tops

On a rocky height, the divine nature of Jesus is revealed to Peter, James and John, his inner circle among the apostles. And they hear the voice of God proclaim Jesus as “Son, Beloved”.

In Jerusalem another hill, shaped like a skull, awaits him. It will be dark there. From his naked

body no light will radiate. And even the Father will be silent, except the one Word he will say to us through the medium of his Son, the Lover,

crucified. With only two thieves, grieving women and the ever-faithful John for company.

G.A.A. humour.  “Question : What’s the difference between ye’r goalie and a turnstile?

Answer : A turnstile only lets in one at a time.”

(A fan, after his team had a cake-walk win.)

“That wasn’t a kick in the backside, it was a pat on the back that slipped.” (Player, to referee).
