Month of the Rosary : October

We, in Ireland, are asked to pray the Rosary (or one decade, at least) each evening during October, to pray for the safety of our people at this time of Covid-19 Pandemic, and to ask Our Lady  to lead us to a deepening of our Faith.  This Wednesday, 7th Oct., is a day specially dedicated to Our Lady of the Rosary.

Thank  You

A profound ‘Thank You’ to all parishioners who made possible the re-opening of the parish church at the beginning of July and to all who by their services have enabled the resumption and continuation of public Masses.

In a special way, our thanks are due to the team who sanitise the church after every Mass, making it safe for those attending the next Mass. Thanks too to our Readers, Eucharist Ministers, Collectors and Counters, all of whom have had to adjust the ways they do things – in keeping with best and safest practice.

First  Holy Communion

Congratulations to the children who received First Holy Communion on Sunday, 20th Sept., and to their parents, guardians and families. A big ‘Thank You’ to the Principal and Staff at St. Ailbe’s N.S. and to the planning group of the Do This in Memory preparation programme.

Mass  Leaflets

Please make sure you sanitise your hands as you enter the church,  pick up a Missalette for your own use only and, at the end of Mass, either take it home or place it in a bin at the door. Remember to sanitise your hands as you leave the church.
