The Wind and the Fire

Father, Pentecost is the festival of light.     Today the sun which dawned on Easter morning has climbed to the pinnacle of the sky

and will not wane or set.

The Spirit of perpetual Spring has united people of every nation under heaven in a single family.

Father, let us each feel something of the warm hurricane of love that strikes the disciples so that we may be witnesses of the peace of Christ.

May your great Pentecostal Spirit never cease to excite, illuminate and warm our hearts.  Amen.

Peter De Rosa
