NOVEMBER

The Feasts of All Saints and Holy Souls.

We start this month of November with the two feasts of All Saints and Holy Souls (1st & 2nd Nov.)  These feasts make us think of those who have lived on this earth.  We think especially of people we know; members of our own families; people with whom we shared a world.

ALTAR  LIST  OF  THE  DEAD

In November we like to write out the names of our dead and place them on the altar in our parish church. Lists are available in the church for this purpose. It has been traditional to include a donation with the list.  This year, rather than giving a donation, people might make the intention to come to at least one Morning or Evening Mass each week during November and join in the offering of that Mass for their dead.

ROSARY  FOR  OUR  DEAD

The Rosary will be recited for our dead in the cemetery at 3pm on each Sunday in November.
