Season  of   Creation

From 1st September until 4th October (feastday of St. Francis of Assisi) we are encouraged to celebrate the Season of Creation – to pray in gratitude for the marvel of the universe and to do some practical acts to care for the Earth which is under threat of harm.

“God has written a precious book, whose letters are the multitude of created things. From vast vistas to the tiniest living form, nature is a constant source of wonder and awe. Alongside revelation in sacred Scripture, there is a divine manifestation in the   blaze of the sun and the fall of night.”

                                                             Pope Francis

A  Family  of  Saints
