First  Holy  Communion

We welcome the thirteen children who, for the first time, come to the Lord’s Table to receive Jesus in the Eucharist. It is a sacred event and very special day in their lives and in the lives of their parents and families. We trust that adult family members will continue to nurture the Faith of these children and bring them to Mass and Communion often.

First Holy Communion is a key event in the life of the parish Faith community too. There’s an old saying: “It takes a village to raise a child.”

We add: “It takes a parish to make a Christian.”
