60th Christmas in-a-Row

Congratulations and deepest appreciation to Mrs. Marie Ryan, BallinvrinAilbe’s a, who on last Tuesday night played the organ in St. Ailbe’s parish church for the 60th Christmas Eve Mass in-a-row !

We thank her for her Diamond service to the parish.

 

Blessing  of  Newly  Baptised

Special Ceremony for the families of babies who were baptised in Emly during 2019 this Sunday, 29th Dec, at the Crib in the parish church at 3.00pm.

Clothes  Collection

At St Ailbe’s School on Monday, 13th  January.h.  No pyjamas, underwear curtains or bedding.  Clean clothes ,shoes, handbags, belts accepted.  Bags can be dropped to the school after Christmas holidays.

Emly  Parish  Party

Emly Parish, in conjunction with Emly Tidy Towns, New Year Party in Parish Hall next Sunday, 5th Jan.      Mass at 1.00pm; a four-course meal & entertainmen.  Tickets €25 available at the Post Office, Callanan’s Scop and from Patsy Hennessy.

 

Emly  GAA  Club

Emly GAA renew thanks to everyone who has contributed towards our fundraiser for a new AstroTurf pitch. If you have missed out on this, you can still contribute through any off the club officers.  Work on this project will start in January;  support would be greatly appreciated. A.G.M. will take place on Saturday, 11th Jan, in Byrnes Tavern, at 8.00pm.  All members are requested to attend.
