These three little words sink some hearts and raise others. Also, they usually signal fine weather! We wish well to all parish pupils and students, to the staff at St. Ailbe’s National School and to the staffs of the secondary schools our parishioners attend.

A special thought for those beginning primary or secondary school. Enjoy the adventure!

 

St. Ailbe’s National School re-opens on this coming Tuesday, 30th August.

Emly  Comhaltas                                                                           Emly Comhaltas Ceoltóirí Éireann branch has been set up. Officers elected:Chairperson – Sarah Croker; Vice-Chair – Seamus Walsh; Secretary – Ann-Marie Durcan; Ass. Sec. – Paula Hartigan; Treasurer – Caroline Martin; P.R.O. – Margherita Dawson.

 

Classes in various instruments will begin in the St. Ailbe’s School in September. Separate classes will be held for adults and for children. Set dancing and Irish language classes for all ages will also be on offer. Details of registration night will be in next week’s parish bulletin.
