ENVELOPE COLLECTION

Thanks to all who have contributed to our envelope planned giving collection.  Envelopes are available at the back of the church.

EMLY  GAA

Emly’s Junior hurlers are our only remaining team still in the championship this year. They have qualified for the West Final against Clonoulty/Rossmore and also the County Quarter Final against mid opposition. We are currently awaiting fixtures for these games.

Good to see so many locals out training for our 80km sponsored cycle on October 24th. Helmets must be worn on the day.

Register with any club officer to participate and get your sponsorship card.

BLOOD  TRANSFUSION  SERVICE

The Irish Blood Transfusion Service will be holding a Blood donor clinic at Ballykisteen Hotel on Monday 27th Sept from 6pm to 9pm.

‘3000 units of blood are required every week.

1000 people receive blood or a blood product every week.’

A Sponsored Walk and Cycle will take place on 24th October. We ask for support and hope many will take part in the event.

TIDY  TOWN

The annual tidy town dance will take place in Byrne’s Tavern on the 16th October.  Tickets are now on sale.
