GOSPEL  REFLECTION

Today we celebrate the feast of Christ the King. It can be hard for us to grasp what Jesus means when he talks about the kingdom. He tells Pilate that his kingdom is ‘not of this world’. He is a King, but not the king we might expect. He has not come to reign on earth or to amass power, but rather to bear witness to the truth. Those who are on the side of truth listen to Jesus’ voice.
