FAMINE  APPEAL

East Africa’s drought has led to millions of people across Kenya, Somalia and Ethiopia being dependent on food aid, with up to half the population of certain affected areas suffering from serious malnutrition. The failure of adequate rainfall to have hit the region for a full year has plunged east Africa into humanitarian crisis. Over 12 million people are at risk.

A collection will be taken up at all Masses this weekend.

CHURCH  CLEANING

Next cleaning on Tuesday 10.15am

GOSPEL  REFLECTION

The ‘kingdom of heaven’ is when God is really the ruler in our life. In life we gather a lot of things, some good and some bad. The wise person in the kingdom of heaven knows how to sit down and make decisions on what to keep and what to discard. When have you undertaken that kind of discernment? What have you discarded? What have you retained?
