A Welcome for Sunday
In some people’s work life, a particular day of the week can be exceptionally busy. For other people, a particular season can be hectic. For all, Sunday Rest can help us keep a balance.
We bid you welcome, blessed Sunday, a fine and joyful day after the week, a fine and lovely day to speak to Christ. Stir your feet and make your way to Mass. Stir your heart and drive from it all spite. Stir your lips and speak words of blessing. Look up and see the Son of the Blessed Nurse, the Virgin, for it was he who redeemed us; may we be his in life and in death.
Traditional Gaelic Prayer.
‘Listening and Report
All parishioners are invited to the Listening Report night in Ballykisteen Hotel on Thursday 21st March, 7.30pm. Over 40 Emly people took part in the original Event last May. It is important that each would attend the Report night, and also others who didn’t make it to the Listening Event. We will be joined by people from each of the parishes of the Deanery area, and by Archbishop Kieran O’Reilly.
First Penance & Confession
On the coming Thursday, 28th Feb, children from 2nd Class at St. Ailbe’s N.S. will make First Confession in the parish church at 7.30pm. An important step in their Faith lives. Family members are invited along.
