You are encouraged to visit the Crib – a strong Irish tradition. Bring along your children/grandchildren to

to pray and to ponder  the wonder of God-among-us.

Emly’s  Family  Circle

We welcome home to Emly all natives of the parish who have returned for the Christmas. Our greetings and good wishes go to all parishioners living in other parts of Ireland and in the wider world. Best t wishes and blessings also to parishioners who are confined to home, to hospital or to nursing home.

 

Icon of the Holy Family

We in Emly were privileged to welcome the Icon of the Holy Family last September. Now, at the end of

Christmas Eve & Day Masses, you will receive a miniature copy of the Icon. Please display it in your

own home and use the Prayer to the Holy Family

 

New Year Party

Emly Parish in conjunction with Emly Tidy Towns New Year Party in the Parish Hall, Emly on Sunday  7th January 2018.  Mass in the Hall at 1.00pm followed  by a four course meal and entertainment.  Tickets: Post Office,  Callanan’s,  Patsy Hennessy.

5k Walk on Sunday 14th January starting at the church car park. More details to follow.

 

Emly Hospice Support Group.

Christmas Coffee Morning & Raffle with festive mulled wine & mince pies on Sunday 24th December in An  Cupán Té (Donies),11.00am -1.00pm in aid of South Tipperary Hospice.  Support appreciated.   €10,000 raised in 2017. This event to kick-start 2018

Emly GAA Club

Emly GAA AGM will take place on Saturday 30th  December at 8.00 in Byrnes Tavern. Nominations and Motions will be taken on the night.  Emly GAA lotto main draw of  €10,000 euro and

bonus draw of  €1,300 were not won; next draw on January 9th. Thanks to everyone who supported the lotto in 2017.  Merry Christmas & Happy New Year to all our Members, Players and Supporters.
