EUCHARISTIC CONGRESS BELL
The Eucharistic Congress Bell will arrive in Emly on Sat eve next.
Arriving 5.15pm: We visit our graveyard to pray for our dead.
The bell will then be brought and installed in the church.
7.30pm Mass: Special Mass of celebration of the Eucharistic Congress Year.
An hour of Public Adoration of the Eucharist will take place in the church after Mass.
After 9am Mass on Sunday the Congress Bell will continue its travels throughout the diocese.
The ringing of the bell is an invitation to us to answer the call of God in our lives.
PARISH RENEWAL GROUP
A meeting on Friday next 28th October at 8pm. All members asked to attend.
MIGRAINE ASSOC – Information Eve.
The Migraine Association of Ireland [MAI] will hold a Migraine/Headache Information Evening in the Hotel Minella, Clonmel on Thur, Nov 3rd from 7.30pm. The keynote speaker will be Dr Eddie O’Sullivan, Cork Headache/Migraine Clinic. There will also be a presentation on the services and supports available to people affected by headache in the region. BORD NA NOG
A reminder to everybody our Sponsored Walk will leave Emly GAA Grounds at 1.00 pm next Sunday. We wish the Junior A Hurling Team all the best when they play Knockshegowna this Sunday in the Quarter Finals of the Championship at 2.00pm in Templemore. We hope club members will give their support.

Junior A Hurling County Quarter Final –
Emly will play North runners up Knockshegowna in the county quarter final this Sunday October 23rd at 2pm in Templemore. Your support is appreciated.
Intermediate Football- Emly will play Moycarkey Borris from Mid Tipperary in the county semi final of the intermediate football championship on Saturday October 29th at 3pm in Golden.
Junior B Football: Our Junior B Footballers were defeated by Eire Og in the west semi final last Saturday evening on a scoreline of 10 points to 8.
Sponsored Cycle: Around the Galtees in 80k. Emly GAA club will run its annual sponsored cycle on Sunday October 30th. Contact Billy Hartigan or David Hennessy for further details.€20 registration fee for cyclists with no sponsorship card. Refreshments served at the half way stage and after cycle. The Bord na nOg will also hold their annual sponsord walk on the same day. Your support for both events is appreciated.
