PAKISTAN RELIEF  – Trocaire.

A collection is being taken up this weekend in aid the Pakistani Flood victims.


CEMETERY  Grass Cuting

Cutting of grass on Wed next from 6pm.


EMLY  TUESDAY  CLUB

It is hoped to organise a day trip to Wexford on Tues 7th Sept. Anybody interested in going should contact Julie Walsh.


TIDY TOWN

President Mary McAleese will be visiting Emly on Sat Sept 4th at 12 noon. We hope there will be a good turnout to welcome the President on this historic occasion. Anybody wishing to do some baking for that day should contact any committee member.

Emly will also feature on TG4 Nuacht programme on this Sunday eve (c.6.45pm).


KNOCKCARRON  WALK

The Knockcarron Loop Walk will take place on this Sunday (August 22nd ) at 2.30pm.


BEREAVEMENT

Bereavement Information Evening will take place at Milford Care Centre on Tue 24th August 2010 from 7.00pm – 8.30pm.

Around the Galtees in 80ks: Emly GAA Club will hold an 80km sponsored cycle on Sunday October 24th.  The cycle will begin and finish in Emly and will include Mitchelstown, Cahir, and

Tipperary town.  Sponsorship cards will be available shortly and anyone interested in taking part should contact any club officer.

Viatores Christi lay missionary development workers are assigned to projects which deal with a range of social and justice issues throughout the world. We need people from all disciplines, from teachers to electricians, doctors to administrators, farmers to childcare workers.
