CHOIR

The parish choir will hold a practice on Wednesday evening next in the church at 8pm.

ROSARY  FOR  OUR  DEAD

The Rosary will be recited for our dead in the cemetery at 3pm on each Sunday in November.

FEAST  OF CHRIST  THE  KING

Today we celebrate the Feast of Christ our King, the one who died for us and rose triumphant.  We ask for the grace to live as people of his kingdom of justice, love and peace.

FAMILY  SUNDAYS – ADVENT

Mass will be celebrated for the families of the parish at the 11am Mass on Sunday next the First Sunday of Advent.  It will also mark the beginning of preparations for the Sacraments of Confirmation and First Holy Communion. All families are invited to attend.

The 11am Mass on each Sunday of Advent will be a family Mass.


BORD  NA  NOG – Sale of Work

Emly Bord na nOg will hold a Monster Sale of Work & Cake Sale in Emly Hall on Sun 5th Dec at 2pm.  Anybody who would like to donate unwanted gifts, toys in good working order, Cds, Dvds, jewellery, books etc may bring same to the hall on Fri 3rd Dec and Sat 4th Dec from 7-9pm. Cakes may be delivered on Sun 5th Dec 12-1pm Committee meeting in the hall on Mon 22nd

at 8-30pm.

AGM: The 126th Annual general meeting of Emly GAA Club will take place in Byrnes Tavern on Saturday December 4th at 8:30pm. All are welcome.

Seanghael: Congratulations to Sean McManus who was honoured as a seanghael in Thurles last Sunday evening. Sean has given great service to both Emly and Tipperary over the years and is well deserving of this award.
