St. Teresa of Calcutta
We knew her in life at “Mother Teresa”, known for her love and care of the poor in India.
The Relic of St. Teresa of Calcutta is being brought to every diocese in Ireland these weeks: in Thurles Cathedral, this Sunday until Tuesday.
Schedule : Sun 16th , 6.30pm arrival at Thurles Cathedral; 7.00pm – Eucharistic Devotions; 7.30 – 9.30pm – Veneration of the Relic.
Mon 17th :11.00am – Mass followed by Veneration of the Relic; 7.30pm Mass followed by Veneration.

Emergency Appeal
25 million people across East Africa are struggling to survive a devastating hunger crisis, in Somalia, South Sudan, Kenya & Ethiopia due to a prolonged drought. Trócaire needs to scale up relief efforts – food, water, basic health clinics to treat people suffering starvation. Trócaire intends to reach 150,000 sufferers.
With the backing of the Irish Bishops, an emergency appeal collection will be held in all parishes in Ireland next weekend, 22/23 July.

Knockcarron community and Scarteen Hunt are hosting their annual hog roast BBQ on Sat 29th July at 8pm in Knockcarron Community Centre. Music by DJ Eugene O’ Sullivan. Bouncy castle and face painting for the kids.
