Emergency  Appeal

25 million people across East Africa are struggling to survive a devastating hunger crisis, in Somalia, South Sudan, Kenya & Ethiopia due to a prolonged drought. Trócaire needs to scale up relief efforts – food, water, basic health clinics to treat people suffering starvation. Trócaire intends to reach 150,000 sufferers.

With the backing of the Irish Bishops, an emergency appeal collection will be held in all parishes in Ireland next weekend, 22/23 July.
