‘Do  This  in  Memory’

The Enrolment of the children preparing for First Holy Communion in 2019 takes place this Sunday during the 11.00am Mass.

The preparation of these children is like a three-legged stool : home, parish, school. All three legs offer support. Do This in Memory is a  vital and valuable home-and-parish programme that supports the fragile Faith of the little ones and refreshes the Faith-life of their parents.

The school (third ‘leg’) offers very particular support to the children. Parishioners are called on to contribute their prayers and best example.

This special Community Christmas Mass is a major part of the school’s very successful Partnership Schools Ireland initiative that sees the pupils, staff and full school community engage together in a range of projects.
