ART  CLASSES

Art classes will start in the Tennis Pavilion on Mon 22nd Jan.  Cost is €70 for eight classes.

EMLY  VARIETY  PLAYERS

Emly Variety Players are planning a production of John B. Keane’s play ‘Many Young Men of Twenty.’ All interested in taking part are invited to St. Ailbe’s Hall on Mon next (16th Jan) at 8pm..

EMLY  TENNIS CLUB

A member’s tennis tournament will commence on Mon 30th Jan.  All members interested should give their names to Stephen McInerney or Mary McGrath. Fee €10.

The AGM of the club will be held on Sat 28th Jan at 8.15pm in the Golden Thatch.

 

EMLY  BORD  NA  NOG

Thanks to all the parents and children who attended our Medal Presentation Function at Byrne’s Tavern on Friday night 6th Jan. Tipperary hurler, Padraic Maher was our special guest and he gave a very encouraging speech to the children.  Thanks to the Committee for their organisation.

 

NIGHT  CLASSES  – Hospital

Enrolment for night classes in John the Baptist, College, Hospital will take place on Tue 17th Jan 2pm-7pm.  Classes: Art, Basic Computers, Set Dancing/Sean Nos, Yoga.

RMLY  GAA

AGM: The 127th AGM of Emly GAA Club will take place on Saturday January 21st at 8:30pm in the Golden Thatch. All are Welcome.

BIBLE COURSE – Pallotine College

The Bible Study Series continues in the Pallotine College, Thurles for seven consecutive Thurs evenings starting on 16th Feb next. This year’s course will continue the study of St. Matthew’s Gospel. Further information and enquiries at 087/0576169.
