All parishes in the country – including ourselves in Emly – will launch a 12-month preparation programme next weekend, 19th/20th August. The national launch will be at Knock Shrine on Mon

21st Aug, when a large newly created Icon of the Holy Family will be blessed & anointed.

The Icon will be brought on pilgrimage to significant religious sites throughout Ireland. It will visit Emly Parish Church on Tuesday 12th Sept. (feast of St. Ailbe) until Thurs 14th
