Eye-Opening  Stories

We’re reading St. Luke’s Gospel on Sundays this year. Luke gives us the great parables that Jesus told. These stories were not inventions. They were actual events involving real people.

Jesus sees into the heart of each happening and

and shows us that its core points to how God deals with us and wishes us to relate to Him. And also how we are to treat other people now.

For example, Jesus knows of a :                   father who pines for the return of a foolish son;

woman searching for her housekeeping money;

Samaritan who rescues a beaten-up Jew;

well-off man who rewards his alert staff. (today)

Watch for the finger and face of God in the events and people of your everyday life.

Listening  Process  Report

“Be dressed for action…be ready”, Jesus calls to us

in today’s Gospel. In the Listening Process wehave hard voices saying, “ensure faith into the future with family oriented activities…something that is family friendly encourages involvement.” (pg. 24).

For Thought: How can we work together to support the faith of our families into the future?
