Church  Face-Lift

Thanks to your continued support of the Church Repair Fund, a special cleaning process has revealed the beauty of the church façade and  the churchyard crosses/headstones. Compliments to Flanagans of Cahir & to staff members Ailbe & Stephen Lonergan..

 

Works yet to be done: install an access ramp and resurface part or all of the churchyard.

11.00am Mass this Sunday will include  Enrolment of children who will prepare for First Holy Communion 2018. Please support them & parents with your prayers and words of encouragement.

 

Naíonán  Naofa (Holy Infant) Sunday

It’s a good tradition to have a Christmas Crib in your home. Please bring along the Holy Infant figure from your Crib for blessing next weekend. Place it beside the Baptismal Font before Mass.

A  Youth  Club  in  Emly

New Year Party

Emly Parish in conjunction with Emly Tidy Towns: New Year Party in the Parish Hall, Emly, on Sunday 7th January 2018.  Mass in the Hall at 1.00pm followed  by a four course meal and entertainment.  Tickets available at The Post Office, Callanan’s Shop or from Patsy Hennessy.

 

Emly Comhaltas

Comhaltas Emly will hold a Music Session on Wednesday 13th Dec. at 7.00pm in the Parish Hall. Raffle & Prizes on the night. All welcome and support appreciated . Our 5k walk is on Sunday 14th   January; from church car park. More details to come

Emly GAA/Emly Bord na nÓg

Annual Sale of Work, Timber Sale, Cake Sale and Raffle will take place this Sunday at 11.30am

in Parish Hall. All Cakes to be dropped to hall on Sunday from 10.30.

 

Emly Hospice Support Group.

Emly Hospice support group will host a Christmas Coffee Morning  & Raffle with festive mulled wine & mince pies on Sunday 24th December in Cupán Té (Donies), 11.00am -1.00pm in aid of the South Tipperary Hospice. Support appreciated.   €10,000  raised €10,000 in 2017. Now to kick-start for 2018.
