CHALLENGE HURLING MATCH
A large crowd turned up in Emly today for the Tipperary senior hurlers first game under the new management of Eamon O’Shea and his selectors. The opposition today was University College Cork. Tipperary were winners in a high scoring game 3-23 to 2-15. (The half-time score was Tipp 1-12 UCC 2-8).
