TIDY TOWN
The now annual arrival of the television cameras to Emly at this time of year is a signal that the national tidy town awards ceremony is just around the corner. Former winners of the event and top towns and villages are usually featured in RTE’s Nationwide programme on the day of the awards which this year is on Monday 10th September. We wish our local tidy town committee every success and congratulate them on their hard work during the year.
