IRELAND  BEST  KEPT  TOWNS 2014.

The adjudicators of the above all-Ireland competition had many favourable comments to pass on Emly in their report. Awarding the best kept village award the adjudicators wrote:-

“There was evidence throughout (the village) of civic pride where all of the community work together as a team to maintain a beautiful place in which to live and work and to visit.”
