DEAD

The death has taken place of  Mrs
Julia Gubbins, Galtee View, Emly after a short illness.  Her funeral Mass will be celebrated in St.
Ailbe’s Church, Emly on Wednesday morning at 11.30am.

 

EUCHARISTIC  CONGRESS

The parish of Emly was represented on Saturday
at Knock Shrine and on Sunday in the Cathedral of the Assumption, Thurles, at
the launch of a year of preparations for the staging of the International
Eucharistic Congress in June 2012. The Congress was last held in Ireland in
1932
