NEWS – 23rd June 2013

Many parishioners returned from Lourdes this weekend after a rather traumatic diocesan pilgrimage to Lourdes when they were caught up in the flooding that enveloped the town and grotto last week. Many of them had to move hotels when they were flooded and survived for a number of days without electricity.

The death took place recently of Cyril Noonan formerly of Main Street, Emly.  His remains were brought from England during the week for burial in Emly.
