ALL-IRELAND  SOCCER

Some local boys were playing with the Herbertstown Soccer team defeated by Templeogue in Dublin today in the all-Ireland under 14 final. Paul O’Heney, Conor Phipps and Andrew Vance were members of the team.

A large number of pupils from Emly National School took part yesterday in the Tipperary county Fleadh Cheol in Roscrea. One group from the school have now qualified for the Munster Fleadh Cheol.
