SCHOOL  HOLS

The annual school holidays for our national school children started on Monday last.  An end of school Mass was celebrated in Emly church for the children and their parents followed by the presentation of various awards to the pupils by the school principal Pauline Finnan. This was also a poignant occasion as two of the school’s part-time teachers, French teacher Nora Coleman and music teacher Noelle Kirschner, who died recently, were remembered.
