EMLY  SCHOOL  BAND

It is just over two years ago since music was introduced into Emly N.S as a regular subject. Now pupils from infants to the senior class are learning to play a musical instrument. The senior band in the school has recently played in public on a number of occasions including at the recent Tipperary Fleadh Cheoil in Newport. It is a delight to parents and parishioners in the locality to see music being taught to such a high standard. Great thanks is due to the music teacher in the school, Nicole Kirschner.
