WEST  TIPP  HURLING  FINAL

Emly junior hurlers had an exciting victory over Clonoulty/Rossmore in the West Tipperary Junior A Hurling final played today in Golden. After a titanic struggle Emly emerged victorious scoring 1-1 in extra time. Score: 2-13; 2-10.

The Emly team was: Ger Dawson (capt), Ciarán McAuley, John Purcell, Michael Ryan, Patrick Hennessy, Michael Ring, Donal Condon, Eoin Buckley, Seán Hennessy, Declan McEniry, James Purcell, Joey Lonergan, David Byrne, Bob McEniry, Pat Buckley. Subs: Paddy Connors, David Hennessy, Eddy Hanley, Shane Carroll, Karol Burke (introduced during the 2nd half), William Hennessy, John Hennessy, Chris Hennessy, Patrick McGrath, Eanna Quish.


Emly will now play Holycross in the County quarter final.
