GREEN and WHITE; BLUE and GOLD.
Over the past week the predominant colours being displayed in Emly were the green and white of Limerick in preparation for today’s match between Limerick and Kilkenny. Despite losing in a thrilling match, Limerick went down with their flags still proudly flying. This week the blue and gold of Tipperary should regain prominence in this border parish as we await next Sundays second all-Ireland hurling semi-final between Tipperary and Cork. Hopefully, the Tipp flags will be proudly flying at the end of this match.
