Congratulations to Marie Ryan for being honoured by Pope - a pity the man himself wasn't able to visit Emly and hear her play with the Emly Choir. Well deserved.

Trying to trace Patrick Joseph Ryan known as "Patsy" who was born and raised in Emly by relatives after the loss of his parents at a young age. I met Pasty in the early 90s and we lost touch in the late 90s but i have never forgotten him and would love to see him again. He is about 6ft tall, grey/dark hair, on the slim side and has lots of brothers and sisters, some of their names i remember: Brige or Bridget, Billy (who worked in a hotel in Dublin) possibly a Michael, the youngest was Noel who married Mary from Mayo. Patsy Lived in Russell Road London Nw9 and worked for Murphy's as a shutterer. If there is anyone who knows him or think you may know the person described I would love to hear from you
