Archbishop O’Reilly has given permission for churches to re-open for limited periods, so that people can visit for personal prayer. It is left to the priests and pastoral council of each parish to decide how best to manage the re-opening.
Here in Emly, we will not re-open this week. A number of things have to be arranged first. We will move towards re-opening, one careful step at a time.
We are living with a widespread and vicious virus. So far, Emly has been fortunate, thank God. All of us need to work together to keep it that way.
